Ford CD4E transmission

Used in 1996-UP Contour and Mystique and 2001-up Escape. Also used 1994-up in Mazda 626 & MX6 and Probe 2.0L DOHC.

This is a computer controlled front wheel drive transmission.

Cooler line nearest pump is the cooler return line.

Band adjustment:
Front = 3/32"-3/16" servo travel
Reverse = Not used

Gear Ratios:
2.889:1 1st gear
1.571:1 2nd gear
1.00:1 3rd gear
.689:1 4th gear
2.31:1 reverse
